But I'm old school so slots will do me.
FWIW EBC have marketed dimpled disc rotors for a decade or more.
Just so you blokes know.
Slotted discs are so YESTERDAY now.
You have to have dimpled discs to be in fashion. LOL

An interesting thread this, in more ways than one ☝️ Some excellent info regarding manufacturing and testing, importing, all of which I had some involvement.
My 2011 Puma Dual Cab did not have ABS, which I’m guessing just about everyone here has. I fitted these slotted rotors to mine, and nearly put myself through the front window. Probably most of my driving was through city traffic where we’re all in a hurry to to work or get home from work. It’s a good thing to have good brakes,, which I thought I had when I got the Puma, but found out otherwise during the first few weeks of ownership. That is, until I fitted the slotted rotors.
In my case, an amazing transformation to what was a brilliant car in every other way. Both on the road and on tracks, I found them to be much more predictable and user friendly,, they just felt better to me. Definitely stopped better.
Obviously, speed is not going to be a factor with a Defender, nor did they probably look good, especially since I don’t wash my cars very often, and even then, who washes brake components (?).
That looks more like just slotting to me .
But i have not paid much attention to taxi racing for a few years (boring) so yeah looks like they have dropped drilled .
But still the same the torture these brakes get i guess they are still one race wonders throw away items consumables![]()
