    Don't use stop leak to try and fix head gaskets

    Pictures say a thousand words, D2 have these lovely thermostats and here is the result of stop leak.
    Housing busted open for photo opportunity.

    I have always carried a tin of pepper and a bar of soap in my tool bag, The soap is a good temporary fix for pinholes in petrol fuel tanks.

    Radiator comes out tomorrow off to the rad specialist, get it rodded and checked.
    Block is pretty clean everywhere we could get the scope into look.
    Glad these don't have water cooled turbos

    i've rodded a few times, always ended up getting a new one a few months later

    I agree.
    I got mine rodded and it failed, The cost of the rodding and flush was more expensive than the New genuine LR radiator I ended up fitting.
