Not sure about the D2 but if you tap the "up" button on a D1, it stops the window where it is.

						SubscriberHi all
Is there any way of getting rid of the "One Touch Down" behaviour of the front window switch ? It's only a minor annoyance I know but I'd like the window to stop moving when I let go of the switch.
Cheers,

SubscriberD2 behaviour is the same. I'd much prefer the behaviour to be "One Touch Up" though.
I've trawled through the Nanacom doco as well as the Nanacom itself and I don't think it can be done. Be nice if it could though. It'd be even nicer to have the same as my wife's '97 Subaru - window winders...

SubscriberJust hold the switch down for longer than about 1 second, it'll stop where you want it to
Mine appears to be a two stage switch, a light touch for control and a hard push for all the way. It does seem a bit finicky though.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
I would love it if I could get my D2a to do a one push UP

						SubscriberOoooh so would I...
I've just spent the better part of an hour with the Nanocom and the doco and to the best of my knowledge there's no way to alter its behaviour. Bummer. One thing I did discover though is that the desired behaviour is exhibited below about 5 or 8 kph which seems to be the same speed as the "Speed Lock" locks the doors if it's turned on. The window switch behaviour remains the same regardless of the "Speed Lock" setting though.
My window switches are all single stage.
I'm only messing around with these things while I'm waiting for my AMC head to turn up which will possibly be mid next week depending on how long it has to rest at customs.

Mine definitely has a two stage switch. A light touch allows me to control the window position but a full press sends the window all the way down.
I had a Fairlane that only operated in the auto-down mode, but that was due to a worn switch; perhaps that is your scenario.
