New ARB Winch Bar, what winch to get?

I'm replacing the ARB bull with an ARB winch bar thanks to the other drivers insurance company. What winch to get? The Warn's are eye wateringly expensive, are Runvas any good? or what other brand?

    Thanks

Runvas are very good, some have the 4wd supacentre winches and they seem good for the price

Mate of mine fitted a supercheap one to his d1 works great, only problem was the plug on the top of the control box correded out from filling up with rain ect, but they sell replacements ones instore. I believe the supacentre ones are cheaper to buy then supercheap and possible better too. Runva winches are held in pretty high regard on alot of other forums. If you got money to burn warn seems to be the best

I think Runva and Warn are both pretty safe choices. I have also met a few people with ALDI/Supercheap type winches that seem to be ok. I guess it depends how and where you may need to use winch. If you will be out playing with friends then failure to operate is not as critical as if you will be soloing in remote areas. I was usually soloing a long way from support so have always opted for Warn as I found them reliable and I could get service parts. However, I have no personal experience with the current generation of Warns.

    Warn
Mine is close to 20years old.
It is a bit stiff to freespool out but otherwise runs fine.
