    Parts Pricing?

There are a couple of bits I need for Ye Old D2 & I just want to know if these prices are reasonable.

First is a plenum strip. The current 1 is in 5 bits held together with silicon. I can get a new one in Oz for $583.00 + freight.

The second part is the top trim on the windscreen. The old 1 broke when the wind screen was changed, it was pretty stuffed anyway. Same supplier for $143.00 + freight.

    Are those reasonable prices?
    Cause I have no idea.

    Thanks

PS I also need new gutters but they seem silly prices! so I will make do with the racked & broken gutters for now.

Have seen the plenum on Lrdirect for approx $430 incl postage to brisbane. They have a genuine and aftermarket version I believe.

MOULDING-PLENUM AIR INTAKE EXTENSIO JAK000010PMA Island 4x4 - Specialists in Land Rover and Range Rover Parts and accessories for all models. UK and worldwide mail order. 150 pounds and they use DHL so very expensive for shipping.

or local ( to me )

JAK000010PMA | JAK000010PMA $244.43 plus I guess postage. Is it $300.00 to you from Melbourne?

I went to lrpart.ru/eng and use that resource to find a part number. part number goes into google.

I used Island 4x4 to buy genuine engine mounts. Shipping with DHL was 100 pounds or 100 dollars I forget which. I ordered on Friday the engine mounts arrived Tuesday! Same with Amazon and a Kindle I broke and they replaced for free. I ordered a ignition barrel from Sydney on a Friday and it arrived on the Monday, 10 days later!! what the ****!

    Cheers
