Question D2a headlights - polishing off the yellow - Kitten Ultra Lens Cleaner

While waiting in line at Repco yesterday I noticed the Kitten Ultra Lens Cleaner and ended up taking some home. Five minutes with a rag on my headlight and it took off all the murky yellowing and made them look significantly clearer again:

A few more minutes would have probably achieved an even better result but I was very impressed for a quick test. First time I've touched them (the vehicle is now 16 years old and traveled 270,000km) so will be interested to see how long it lasts.

I'm sure theres many other products that can be used too (toothpaste, car cut and polish, etc) but thought I'd throw this up as a recommendation for anyone interested in trying.

I have used a similar product and the transformation is Amazing, Unfortunately it isn't permanent and you have to keep polishing the lenses from time to time.
It is however worth the effort and it only take about 5min to do both lenses

Was told by someone to polish them with car polish every few months or so to “keep the clear” but I don’t have these lenses so don’t have that problem. I’d be interested to hear the thoughts from others.
