There are a few who did a trim up but going straight doesn’t gain anything.
Anyone here done anything like this to improve departure angle and reduce the rear guards?

Like all my mates lifting there 79 series and massive tyres and all they do is beach driving and diff only 1-2 inches higher lol

I have noticed disco and other makes with damage in the area.....
Bar work protecting the existing panels or making adjustment to the panel l isn’t sick a bad idea if you’re doing more extreme tracks
I’m going to do mine and make a rear bar to suit as I can’t find one off the shelf obviously. I have damaged both rear quarters below the last fold in the body so it looks a bit rough as it is.
So had my D1 when it happened but I sorted that and kept the line which looks and flows nicer... (and works for dragging off items also)
