    New Gremlin...

Sooo this morning, it was a bit chilly, so I had my climate control set on 23 in ECON mode. Half way through my 10 minute journey to the train station, the fan stopped on my heater - nothing blowing out. Any ideas where to look? Maybe a fuse gone?

Also, once I arrived at train station, got out and locked the car with the fob, the headlights turned on!?! Unlocked car again, and they switched off. Locked car again - all good.

Anyone seen these issues before and can steer me in the right direction?

    Thanks,
    Cam

Can't help with the heater issues, sorry.

The headlights will come on for 30 secs if you hold the lock button for more than a couple of seconds rather than just a quick press. Pressing the lock button again will turn them off again as will unlocking the car.

Think it’s a common issue for the blower fuse to corrode under the drivers side. Aircon blower fan 1999 D2 problem & fix
This was my write up. It’s a bit long. Hope it helps. Josh.

Thanks Josh! Looks like it is indeed the fuse block. Had my very talented brother check it out, and put a temp fix in until we can source a new one.

    Cheers,
