It takes a bit of pulling apart doesn't it? 50mm max suspension lift + 25mm max tyre LIFT (50mm larger diameter tyre). The other part people stuff up is a body lift is classed as a body modification and is not permissible.

Hi Jazzman, yup i got it all sussed out and my lift is actually 40mm and i’m good to go with 235/85 rubber. Looking at re shoeing with KUHMO MT51... hmmm! better turn the rear door wheel carrier 180 degrees to accommodate the upgraded rubberD2 ‘stock’ ride height

Is there no maximum diameter increase of tyre size in Vic? In WA we are limited to a max 50mm increase, which makes 235/85R16 too big. 245/75R16 are OK.

    D2 ‘stock’ ride height

Hi kelvo, we have 2 options in Victoria. Option 2 is for a total combination lift of 75mm. Using the stock 235/70 tyre size and stock suspension heights measured from centre of hub to wheel arch as base lines the lift calculation would be the measured increase in suspension lift above stock and the increase in the wheel free radius measurement which when added together give the combination lift - if i have interpreted the guideline correctly.
