			Brake lock up front right

					Hi all,

Have front right wheel lock up under heavy braking. It seems to quick to lock compared to front left. So had the calipers fully reconditioned (16 years of use thought it was good insurance) and had AS compliant stainless braded lines put in - no change. Rotors are quite new and even, and pads quite new and even. Fluid changed at that time. I drove on some grass today and stuck my head out the window and jammed the brakes on a few times and noticed that the front right was keen to lock and would then release under ABS but it locked for a second. I cant see what the other side is doing. Both front tyres have same pressures. No ball joint wear. Shocks are both very good. Its the same each time when the bitumen is wet. It is reducing brake effectiveness.

On Nanocom there are no errors. I have cycled the ABS using Nanocom - ABS modulator bleed. The only thing I haven't done (and this hasn't been done for more than a decade) is to do a bleed of the system at the wheel cylinders using Nanocom to push it through and get rid of the air that way. It has a good pedal though so I don't know how that would make a difference. It has me buggered.

Apart from replacing rotors (or machining) and pads as a full set on the front, any thoughts? Pads are EBC Blackstuff and I have always found them very good. Rotors are stock DBA.

 Cheers

check voltages and wheel speeds with nanocom, you might have to clean the sensor as well as the segments of the reluctor ring as the sensor might not be seeing one or two segments, also make sure the wheel bearing is ok
