    Clutch slip

    Hi all my clutch has a small slip as I release the clutch when cold as the car warms up the slip is less noticeable I have changed the clutch master and slave cylinders would ait still in the system cause this thanks all.

    I have 2 year old clutch and fly wheel it's a single mass and heavy duty clutch.

    Standard tune the fpr does have a leak but only minor

    Gee it sounds odd that a heavy duty clutch would slip after such a short time
    I was disappointed that my standard clutch only lasted 80000k but mine is heavily tuned and is a heavy vehicle

    Could it be diesel contamination?
    I thought the solid flywheel and HD plate would resolve all this

    You would hope it lasted a lot longer than that. I had a third meat on my v8 clutch at 200,000klm. Lot of stop.start and towing a 2 tonne boat. Cheers

    I thought it might be air in the clutch system as it only started after I replaced the master and slave cylinders I'm pretty sure that there's plenty of meat on the clutch. It could be diesel will fix the fpr as the clutch is fine after its been used a few times and it has warmed up the small slip goes.
