    Dash vent hints needed

    Hi All,

The dash air-con vents on our 'new' DIIA have a couple of broken/loose louvre blades. The ones in our D1 'organ donor' are good and look to be the same.
Can't find anything in RAVE about removing these (only whole dash sections). Does anyone have any hints on how to remove and replace the vent louvre units without breaking something? All help much appreciated.

Been a while since I did it but I'm pretty sure the ones near the doors you can just pull out. Centre ones I am struggling to remember, but I think are part of the centre console fascia so never had them apart.

Top one pulls out, has a clip thing which holds it in (until you pull it out and stuff breaks off).

The front facing ones all have a foam ring around them to seal against the ducting, it will probably be little more than gunk, hope and dust at this stage, I replaced with the door draft foam stick on stuff, a few layers of.

The ones next to the doors just pull straight out. Flat blade screwdriver to help lever it. Easy job, 20 seconds.
