Nanocom reads the signals incorrectly so maybe Hawkeye does also.
Regards Philip A
Evening all, hope pleasant weekends have been had.
Whilst out today in the disco I had occasion to go into low range, and was reminded of the fact then during a recent trip I'd found the throttle very sensitive in Low. I plugged my newly purchased Hawkeye in and according to Hawkeye the high/low sensor was reversed compared to what was actually happening.
Any ideas why this might be, and how to resolve it?
Also, I've heard mixed reports as to whether it is only throttle sensitivity that changes, or changes to fueling etc also?

Nothing to worry about, it’s a BCU wording anomaly where the HI reading is given when the switch is ON ie when in LOW range.
Nanocom reads in the same way as well.

+1, it's about the input signal strenght not about the gearing... something to know and live with, as long as the reading changes together with the selection it's OK.
Discovery Td5 (2000), manual, tuned
Ah, goodo, thanks again team.
How would new Landy owners get by without a forum like this place???
