    Disc Rotors & Brake Pads

While not wanting to start a disc rotor and brake pad war, I need a set for the rear wheels.I'm planning on a Delphi set of pads from a local supplier. What disc rotors? Bosch? Protex? Protex Slotted?

I do not have an extreme vehicle, no lift or ECU remap. The car is quite vanilla and is likely to stay that way.

    Thanks

I’ve got terrafirma drilled/slotted rears. Happy with them. Can’t remember what I paid, but weren’t pricey. Purchased from MR automotive in QLD.
Have another brand in the front (? DBA drilled/vented/slotted + anything else they can add). Stops well.

I purchased Delphi discs and pads from the UK.

Just standard discs. It's 2 tonne truck and the bog standard discs work fine.

    Good quality and no squealing.

Yes, still substantially cheaper than anything in Oz, even with postage. (comparing to DBA which are also very good)

Delphi front discs are 27.79 pound. Still heaps of spare change for postage and tools

I had a set of heavy duty DBA rotors and pads fitted front and rear to my D2a because I upgraded my boat from a 400kg unit to a 1.5t one.
There was nothing wrong with the original brakes and they worked just fine But the DBA brakes are in a different league completely and I will Never go back to using the factory rotors and pads again.
