    Wipers sleeping

Hi all my wipers seem to be sleeping when I turn them on they take about 30 seconds to respond if I push the wiper switch down they then work straight away on Internet I need to push the wiper switch down to make them work properly any ideas as to what is going on would be great thanks.

Had the same problem. Fixed by replacing the wiper switch mechanism, some research indicated you can clean out the accumulated gunk which is probably causing the problem. Part number STC4016.
