Auto leak and head oil leak
Finally got Leaky on a hoist today, gave it a quick degrease and then a run around the block. That was all it took and you could see the fluid leaking out. Had been thinking TC input shaft seal but the inside or the bell housing wasn't reflecting the amount of ATF that was leaking out. What we found was it is coming from between the bell housing and the gearbox. Is it the TC seal or is there a gasket or some other seal or O ring in that area that fails? What am i going to need to stop it.
The oil leak seems to be coming from the back of the head between the head and the "CAM block", not from the head /block gasket join. Is there a gasket in there or is it just 2 machined surfaces bolted together. Going to do the rear main when the gearbox comes out, do i need to split the sump from the block to replace it?
