    D2 Td5 - front propshaft only has standard uni's - no DC??

I don't very often venture into the D2 forums, but I've started looking at Td5 D2's as a replacement vehicle for my Isuzu county.

Looked at a 2002 model yesterday and noticed that it only had normal style uni's on the front shaft - no DC joint. Also looked like the front T/case flange may have been replaced at some point as it didn't look 100% landie (can't put my finger on why, but it didn't).
I'd always thought that the D2 needed the DC shaft to cope with the shaft angles and that all D2's had them - is that correct?

If so, I guess its been replaced with a non DC shaft at some point in its life. Probably not too much of a drama in its current "bitumen only" role.

PS: Just joking about replacing the County!! The D2 will be a replacement for my wife's soul-less Holden Astra....

Yep, it's been changed at some point.
The DC shaft is there to provide a few less vibes than a Deefer experiences with only two uni's and the uni's out of phase.
