    D2 ACE actuator and bushes

    Hi guys.

Came home to see a pool of fluid that has leaked from my ACE actuator, im yet to have a good inspection but looks to be coming out from the boot.

My question is, If I need to replace the actuator is it worth doing the long arm bushes as well?

This also might be the push I needed to by a nanocom!

    Thanks.

    Edit: car has done 188k.

The workshop manual says to put in on a ramp. I pressume it then has to cycle the actuator to get the air out of the system so the car would move around.

Mine had a decent leak so i want to replace it sooner rather than mater, how much leaks out of yours?

Seems a few are interested so i will try to a write up it.

When I recently replaced the rear pipes and ACE pump I made sure the pump was fully primed before starting then topped up the fluid after it had filled the system. I'd read that it will self bleed by excercising the valves so drove around with lots of turning. Another top up and it seems to be working fine.
