Lets do some rough Maths. No guarantees but should be ballpark-ish.
Rough average performance:
12 L/100 km at an average of 70 km/h and 2200 rpm and boost of say 0.8 bar.
That's the same as 0.7 x 12 = 8.4 L/h at average of 2200 rpm and 0.8 bar boost.
Assuming fueling is roughly proportional to boost (it isn't, but this is envelope maths) 8.4 / 1.8 = 4.7 L/h at no boost and 2200 rpm.
Idling at 750 rpm = 4.7 x 750/2200 = 1.6 L/h
Maybe 10% extra loading for A/C.
I would say 2-3 L/h is a fair value to do some estimation. Would be interested if anyone does the actual experiment.

simple question. Anyone can guess how many liters of diesel would be used /hour on a TD5 Auto (2001 model) if I keep the car idling + AC on with fan speed 2 and 18 degree? (outside tempt about 25-27).
