Thread: Disco2 OBD plug

had a look around steering wheel and nothing that looks like the plug, is there any chance its been taken off, or is it just me going blind ,

Yep, near your left foot if you rest it on the footrest.
Some can pop through and backwards and behind the black finisher panel under the dash.

V8 or TD5?

EDIT: never mind, had a look at some of your prior posts .. TD5 it seems!
You do know that the port on a TD5 is not OBDII compliant.
Only really works on dedicated Landrover devices(Nanocom, Hawkeye, etc ..)
