    IACV

    When I turn the ignition on, without motor running the idle air control valve has a buzzing noise. Is it supposed to?

    The IACV on a Thor at one stage does a complete opening closing sequence to make sure it is freely moving. It is a sleeve valve.

    I cannot recall whether it is one startup or shut down, but it sounds likely to be that.
