Replacing the radiator Part 1

I am having a break, three hours is enough for me in one hit.
I have removed the inter cooler, nice to see that it is still clean on the inside, after cleaning this time last year and adding a Provent.
Finally got the old radiator out. What a performance!!
I planned on removing the EU3 EGR Cooler. Am I correct in that the pipe at the rear of the oil cooler goes to the EGR? It looks like I will need to use an angle grinder to cut the metal pipe out so that the pipe can be removed from the rubber tube. Then install a plug. Which I have, and a plug for the header tank.
The old thermostat is closed. Well as far as I can see. I have a new genuine one that will go in when the new radiator goes in. Hopefully tonight.
As for adding the coolant. Do I add 6.5L of concentrate then add 6.5L of distilled water? or mix up the coolant and add.
The air bleed plug has a nice mark i.e. tighten to here, c/o Ritter.
And on the final flush of the coolant, the drain plug flew off and vanished. I looked every where on the ground and could not see it. half an hour later as I am packing up, I feel up above the steering damper and rod, I find the drain plug!! woo hoo.
