    D2 speedo stopped working

The other day I realised my cruise control had suddenly stopped working. Checked on here, then checked brake lights. Yep not working = blown fuse 25 under drivers side interior fuse bank.
Only trouble was - then my speedo stopped working. The Nanocom speed indicator and mileage indicator/trip meter have all stopped as well. I do have a speedo adapter (from Hunter Di Spares a C-6100-4) so I guess first check is that, meaning an unscheduled visit to DazzaTD5 is coming up, unless someone has a brilliant idea.

I think you're on the right track with checking the speedo correction unit first as its logical and its the most unreliable part because its not from the factory. It's not throwing amigos and it sounds like the signal isn't arriving anyware from the SLABS. What is weird though, is that I thought it was meant to throw a fault if the speed sigal diagnostic frequency doesn't come out of the SLABS.

You know I left the shop the other day & the Speedo decided to not work. It was weird, I’ve never had it happen before - ever. Then I stopped at the next shop (2km away), and after shopping alls good again and I’ve had no further problems. I’ve also got a speedo correction box. Strange

    Problem Solvered

Update - fixed. DazzaTD5 finally found the problem, and as so often the case, something simple.
The wire leading from the fuse box to the unit had a fault in it and has been replaced. Now all good and back to 3 speed indicators (D2, Evo and C6100)

Its an aftermarket addition. You can put it anywhere but it intercepts and modifies the SLABS computers (Passengers front footwell) speed signal output wire.
