    A/C Blower Fan?

    Where is it?
Either something has fallen into the blower fan or it has 1 or more broke blades because it rattles like a can of rocks.
Can't have it above 2 or 3 with stero blasting because the noise drives me insane.
So, once I figure out where it is I will see if I have the skill & tools to check it out.

It's really easy to get to.
I know this is hard to believe with a D2.
However just take out the glovebox, and it is held by 4? bolts. You have to unclip the wiring but then it just drops out.
I had a ballpoint pen in mine.

Glovebox comes out by using 7mm socket screws x 4. Then lift the glovebox up to feed the rollers out through the cutouts on either side. Then remove the lower cover. 3 plastic clips up front and 1 screw type plastic cap at the rear to remove the lower cover.

Unclip 2 pin plug at blower motor, undo 1 phillips head screw holding the wiring retaining clip to the blower base.

Then remove the 3 x 8mm socket screws holding the blower into the housing (or you can use a torx driver).

Fan will now fall out so carefully feed it past the wiring harness at the rear near the firewall.

Clear debris outside the car. Reverse process to refit.

Glovebox removal is only required for viewing but definitely recommended.
