.... look for ones with SW (shortwave) reception because they will have the receiver sensitivity that is necessary for DXing. Pioneer have one. They are common in the Middle East and Europe and North America. Check out Israel or US / Canada eBay sellers[emoji1417]
I don't know the model number but the Eurovox single CD deck that goes with the DVD in a 2002 can be repaired by Eurovox in Melbourne for $215 when I checked about 5 years ago.
However I bought a Pioneer with Bluetooth, phone, USB, ability to play mp3 for much less than that.
And it has about 3 shortwave bands.
Eurovox marketed a Japanese brand which I forget on its AM sensitivity. I selected them for BMW in 1980 and they were fitted to Holdens for several years. They had 10microvolt sensitivity Vs 20 in all modern units.
They all have 20Mv as in other countries such as USA, Japan,and Europe the problem is AM crosstalk, and to reduce crosstalk is very expensive as selectivity must be improved greatly.
