Thread: New Member D2a V8 Austo Pert West Aust

Hi All

i am new to the forum ... Darren from West Aust.

Have had my D2a V8 auto for going on three years +, so far new top hat V8, cooling system rad hoses etc, alloy coolant expansion tank after going through 3 plastic ones, power steerin pump, front prop shaft, hit a roo and smashed up the front bumper so now have an MCC bull bar fitted purfectly, new rear air bag shocks....other stuff hs been routne maint aside from he brake switch and crank sensor. Drive it like i stole it most of the time so for an older car its been fun......plan to keep it for a while.

I purchased a new D1 V8 auto - 1998 model back in the day .... 90k in 3 of years and never missed a beat .... so uch for myths and legnds i guess.

Have been reading info on this forum for a few years now ad found it very useful so though i would join.

Hiya Darren,
I also have a 2a V8. I am in Floreat West Perth. Try to look after it myself, so far with regular oil and filter changes and so far so good......
