Simon does it happen after you put a pie in it?

Does anybody/everybody end up with a hot glovebox between the 2 fronts seats by any chance? If its not normal, doesn't anybody know why this happens by any chance?
Thanks for any input.
Cheers

He thinks he has an optional extra, so it's where he warms his beer...
If you've got rear climate control it could be a stuck flap in the ducting, or foam seal gone. I get a hot left leg in the drivers footwell.
Transmission issue, some reflective material gone, hole in exhaust, short, coiled spare wire tucked away?
Closure on this.
If your centre glovebox is like a pie warmer then check if the handbrake cable bung is still in place. Mine had fallen out of place and I guess hot underbody air was being blown up into the cavity under the glovebox. Might be good to keep some fumes out of the cabin also!

In the opposite direction, I've considered drilling some holes so that the vents under the centre console vent into the console instead.
To cool the glovebox?
It interesting, because under the centre console, there are 2 ducts from the HVACS system that run under the lips on each side that duct the air to those back vents. I think you'd be able to do that really easily, even running new ducts from the front.
