    Td5 hack.

    Hi all, just wondering if anyone has tried this hack that I just came across. It bypasses the MAF with a wire directly from the TPS wire at the computerBlack plug to the MAF wire at the Red plug.

    I think that idea was discussed previously and its not really that great an idea. What version is your td5, EU2 or EU3?

    On the eu3 the maf is fairly important, is it playing up or were you just interested in idea of the maf hack?

    Just Interested in the back mate. Running pretty good (touch wood), just popped up on YouTube and thought I would run it by everyone on this forum as I trust this site a whole lot more than YouTube. 😁

    I asked Jose from td5inside about this and he said on eu2 just unplug the maf sensor

    How does unplugging it work, did he say? I thought the ecu needed a signal from the MAF.

    The eu2 motors only need the maf for EGR control, once you delete that and turn it off in the map you don't need the maf, but for eu3 you need it for fuel management
