    Oil leak around FPR area

    Hi all
I have slight oil leak showing up on the fpr and below on the starter and all right back bottom side of engine block. I have changed the rocker cover gasket a few days ago and no oil leak around the cover now, but still can be seen on the bottom of fpr and below. Any idea where it could come? Inlet manifold?
    I will attach picture later.

almost 100% sure it is oil. First I have also thought that the FPR leaks but checked several times and it does not smell diesel. I also put drops on a piece of paper see attached. The midle one taken directly from the bottom of the FPR, the right one is engine oil and the left one is diesel (for today the left spot has disappeared but the other two are the same).
As the rocker cover gasket has changed and it still there I guess it could come from the mating face of intake manifold and engine.

I changed the inlet manifold gasket about a year ago (also deleted egr and cleaned all system) and which was strange almost all bolts were loose.
Can it be that it got loose again or the aftermarket gasket has gone.....?

I thought I had an oil leak from the same area, was doing my head in. So decreased everything and leet dry. Started the car and found Fuel pressure regulator slowly dripping!! I had never thought to check who is the vehicle was running. It was dripping diesel and picking up other gunk on the way down and looked exactly like oil..

Thanks for the idea, but even on the bottom of the FPR (see my photo) it looks and smell like oil (does not smell diesel at all).
If it were diesel, even it contaminates on the side of the engine block and looks like oil, it still should smell like diesel...

I also found the new cam box seal to leak in the fpr area even tho it was new and some sealant was used. I re fitted with more goo and added some o rings under the bolt head washers to force it down further. No leaks since.

I reckon the idea of limiting the down movement of the fixing bolts is fine to pritect the alloy etc but if the gasket is a bit thin it does not allow enough crush to seal properly. ..hence by adding an o ring under the bolt head more pressure can be applied.
    You could try this.

Update. Seems that I still have leak but only under the half moon area of the rocker gasket. Sh..t, just recognized, I have ordered the bad part ERR7094 instead of LVP000020..
    problem solved..
So no meaning to investigate any further other areas, first this has to be solved.
