    Commonality.

    What major components from a D1 can be used in a D2(a), diffs, axles, T/C, auto, windscreen?

    There is a list in the good oil somewhere. I will have a look. The back door skin ( only) fits, window mechanism ( fronts at least) for starters.

    I see the Disco1, Disco2, defender, P38 interchangable parts. and will raise the ante to include, possibly the only part that might also fit a D3, and that is the lockable diesel fuel cap, as I moved one from a D2 TD5 to a D3 2.7 TDV6 pro'ly also fits a Defender as well, because when it wore out my mechanic tried out a few from vehicles in his yard to order the proper LR one, as the old one was an after market type.
