    Alloy coolant header tanks.

    Who's used what? Any with a special recommendation or to be avoided?

    I had an alisport for a while , it cracked on the top weld . Also gets hot enough to burn hands .
    I went back to the std plastic .

    My plastic one's gone to God at 163,000k the D1 was still going at 360,000k.

    mine was/is the other way around, my D1's black thing got rewelded twice,, but this D2 one is the original.

    Some of that gear looks the dog's danglies.

    When I cleared out all the olde bits from my late D1 junk box I found 2 more tanks I had forgotten about apart from the 2 I remembered swapping.

    Not the best thing that LR ever tested, selected or used.

    As the man ^^^^ up there said it seems to matter not what colour it is, they still fail.


    White was supposed to be bulletproof & that turned out to be all cock as well. OEM, Aftermarket all seemed ****.
