Thread: Alloy coolant header tanks.

I had an alisport for a while , it cracked on the top weld . Also gets hot enough to burn hands .
I went back to the std plastic .

Trouble being they dont last 12 months.

I must be lucky , mine has at least 500,000 on it that I personally know of .

My plastic one's gone to God at 163,000k the D1 was still going at 360,000k.

mine was/is the other way around, my D1's black thing got rewelded twice,, but this D2 one is the original.

When I cleared out all the olde bits from my late D1 junk box I found 2 more tanks I had forgotten about apart from the 2 I remembered swapping.

Not the best thing that LR ever tested, selected or used.
