I had a small leak on the top pipe on the bottle, cut some of the pipe off, problem solved.

    Coolant issue

Checked coolant level again this morning and the level doesn't appear to have dropped at all, and I cant see any obvious signs of leakage at the present moment.

So definitely taking the keep an eye on it route at the moment.

Its just frustrating that I know there may be an issue however its not showing itself at the moment.

    Cheers

    Sunday 17th November 2019

Completed a 5000km oil and filter change today.

Completely cleaned area around the primary and secondary filters. Took Bessie for a drive. I still have the leak on that side of the engine.

It appears to be coming from the bottom of the Centrifugal filter housing. From reading there is an o-ring that goes flat on the housing. So am going to renew that and the gasket. While im around that area is there anything else that I should do while I have that area pulled apart?

By the way I had a look at this Oil Leak from Oil Cooler Gasket?.

Is it worth changing the oil cooler gasket.... just for the sake of it?

    Cheers

I had to put a new gasket on my oil cooler because of a tiny coolant leak (thought it was the pump for a while). Not a five minute job. Give it a good degrease, run it and then "feel around" with some paper towel will show any fresh leaks.

and along came the Three Amigoes

Driving home from work tonight, I went over a bump and the 3 amigoes chimed in

Unfortunately on switching off Bessie and switching her back on again, didnt reset them. They are still there.

Had the front RHS wheel sensor replaced a couple of months ago at TRS. so I am guessing im going back there in the next few days.

The life a a D2 owner..... always fun

    Cheers

Just an update. Went out to take Bessie to TRS this morning, started her and the 3 amigoes have gone on holidays again. Hopefully they stay away.

The The Three Amigos are telling you something. Buy a cheap, disposable Hyundai or Kia or Commodore or something for your daily "run around" car and only use the Disco for holidays...

    Three Amigoes intermittent

    Hey everyone,

The Three amigoes are coming on intermittently. I am wondering if there is a certain time where the fault will be logged permanently, or can it remain intermittent for ages.

    Cheers
