No, completely different motors.
V8 will fit but will be missing a few components required to run.

Did my D2 V8 head gasket too, I've done 10,000k since after using this and is still fine.

I know its only a patch but I know cars still going years later with it. If you use it follow the directions closely.

Thanks for the answers and I tryed the gasket fix and still having a knock, been doing a lot of research and am thinking its a slipped liner

Ha ha I used the Rislone stuff too some years back when stranded up north with the family in the rain and towing a heavy trailer. It lasted about a year. Didn't seem to do any damage when engine was pulled down...eg I expected to see blocked coolant gallaries etc..but not so.
