    Headlight Protectors..?

    Hiya,

Wondering if anyone has had any experience with headlight Protectors for the d2a?
(which look very similar, if not same, as D2??)

Anywho, I'm looking to purchase a pair of these as I'm currently looking at purchasing a single hoop bullbar, and just want a, "little something", to help the headlights protect themselves....apart from that, I think they look cool. That's always important right. Headlight Protectors..?

Some reviews I've read say that they are a cheap nasty hard plastic? Having read those descriptions, I went looking for steel versions, but I can't find any steel versions...

I know this next question is going to sound rather stupid, but I'm gunna ask it anyway...

When headlights are on, are there any shadows created from these? Or some sort of weird light distortion??

    Thank you,
    Cheers,
    Mark.

    Hi,
yes it is a cheap plastic, or maybe rather expensive plastic But it is prety hard and above all very cool looking . From my experience, it doesnt create any shadows, I have biled projectors in my headlights and there is no problem. Also nobody I know have any problem with light distortion of any kind. If you want a steel ones, there are alternatives for sure, for example in my region from Poland

    Hi boboman7,
That is more along the lines of what I was thinking. (Hoping for) Headlight Protectors..?

Apart from being steel, that extra vertical line and the way they mount to the guard is much neater looking, and thus, they overall look better.

Clicked on your link, but I don't have Facebook, so just got same pic that you posted. But thanks, I've got the idea. There is something else for me to look for.

    Thank you.
