    Water leak

i have been using a small amount of radiator water , and found some sitting just to the right of muffler on flat edge
i hope the pic works , with water sitting there would that be a head gasket, no water in oil
or is there some water pipes in that area to look at

Yep, the mystery pipe. Are you loosing a large amount of coolant?
You can just block off both ends of the pipe. The other end goes the the coolant reservoir, on a d2a it does.

Only block it off if you have an eu 3 engine with an egr delete, otherwise replace the factory hose.
The only other source that will let coolant drip from there is the screw in core plug behind the exhaust manifold
