Thread: EGR delete warning light/limp mode

The TD5 is quite robust when it comes to ripping stuff off it. You can unplug most of all that and it has very little down side, you do get "egr bluh bluh something" logged when you scan tool it, but it doesnt put the engine light on.

I'd suggest a bigger issue somewhere, maybe as tombie has suggested it overboosted at some point.

Using a Hawkeye, I have nothing listed regarding my missing EGR 'system'.
Which scan tool are you using??
