You have to put it back down yourself
Hi guys , I have a question regarding the rear airbag raise button. If the rear is raised for off road use, does it return to standard height automatically once the car is switched off or do you have to press the button to get it back down.
thanks
You have to put it back down yourself
from memory , for what thats worth :-) if raised using button on dash , it automatically returns to road height when car reaches 40kph . :-)
the above 2 posts are right, also years ago I Did a modification on mine by fitting a Flow control valve on the exhaust/supply line from compressor unrestricted when raising suspension slows the exhaust side when lowering.
Reason for this was I found when going down steep gullies this would raise the rear and the computer would drop air pressure but when at bottom and going back up the ass end of car would bottom out and would take time to raise it self to correct level, above mod fixed this issue.
disco seriesII mods so far:-bullbar,hyd winch,

is there a way to remove the speed at which the suspension lowers back down ? 30 klms is very slow.
thanks
No way but it's made so for safety reasons cos the vehicle can be unstable with raised back at higher speeds
