    Welcome to the Forum
I don't know of anyone in Perth that are LR "Savvy" But up here in Geraldton Wyatt's are the go
You have to remember that the D2's are getting pretty long in the tooth now, My 2004 D2a is 16 years old now and I have spent close to $20K getting it up to scratch.
With any LR product it will usually cost you a "Premium" to get parts to keep them 100% So you have to decide if you are willing to part with the Quids or just drive around in an old PIS

I can't tell you but a Nanocom probably will. See if you can beg or borrow one and plug it in and have a look.

Even the youngest D2's are getting a bit long in the tooth. All well aged cars have bits that are bound to need replacing. A mate of mine reckons that all cars, when they approach twenty years old, are made of "maintenance items".

I had intermittent 3 Amigos for a while and a brake line flush seemed to fix the problem.

Another common cause can be the shuttle valve in the abs unit.

Rovercraft in Perth can supply parts, maybe they can point you in direction of a LR mechanic?

We had the three amigos on a Disco 2. I read somewhere on the forum that you can jack up one wheel start the car and put it in gear and see if the speedo works. Repeat on each corner. By using this method I was able to detect what I already knew but forgot that it was the left front wheel. About $90 for a wheel sensor, 10 minutes work and don't forget to clear the fault. Problem fixed. Good luck.

    3 Amigos

2 or 3 years ago, my D2A suffered from intermittant 3 amigos & the accompanying annoying chimes for several weeks..eventually tracked the problem to a fractured welded earth stud just behind the main battery in the engine bay...replaced the broken stud by drilling it out and replaced it with a stainless caphead bolt (same diameter as broken stud) with nylock lock nuts and no problems ever since with 3 amigos.
Hope this may be of some help

Have you checked your tyre pressures? , I have noticed that when i just do a "Rough" pump up when leaving the beach the 3 amigo's tend to show up
