    Stalling at idle

    Here's something new!

So,, it will start on LPG and ULP, idle for about 4 secs and then stall.
I can manage to get it to drive down the road but it stalls at stop signs etc.
check engine light comes on when stalled.
    vacuum or intake leak maybe?

Sounds like you need to see what codes are
Coming up on the ecu. If you don't you'll just be chasing your tail. You could first
Check for any vacuum leaks using a smoke tester

They are easy to use , otherwise back to plugging in a scan tool to find what codes you have then go from their .

If your local to BURLEIGH heads on the Gold Coast I'm happy to help . Im a mobile mechanic in Burleigh

If you happen to get your hands on a scan tool I'll be happy to assist you in how to do some diagnostics .

Pedro can you take the fuses out of the LPG circuit and leave it unplugged from the Land Rover ECU then see if it still plays up running unlead? But I would try to rule out vac leaks first. If it's not missing under load that should rule out coils, leads, plugs.

    Cheers

I can switch (on the dash) the lpg off, and as it always starts on ulp this then disables the lpg side completely.
    still stalls.
since the new lpg ecu was installed I've been unable to get a obd2 bluetooth dongle to work,, (up to number 4)
the one time I saw the car symbol stop blinking none of the available sensors were for specifically a V8.. ????

Has anyone installed a new lpg ecm?

does it intefere with the obd2 connection in any way?

    wheres that rave..

    A Professional has poked around----

    no codes recorded.
    no obvious vacuum leaks.
no correlation between new LPG cpu and OBD2 unavailability. OBD2 just cant see the lpg side.

his small hand held obd2 connector fired right up with green connection lights..

    I'm sick of buying dongles.
any other way to get live data onto a small tablet?

car ran fine on the 10 kay round trip.

please note complete lack of emojies.

Peter I had a problem many years ago of a stumble on petrol. Turned out to be the LPG system (though it ran well on LPG) and the only way it was cured was removing the fuses to the LPG so there was no power getting to the LPG ECU...apart from that anecdote mate I can't think of anything more useful you can try.
