    That nagging vibration again

Ive been chasing a vibration drone at around 1300-1500rpm, Ive replace engine mounts (genuine) belt tensioner bearing, fan hub bearing, A/C compressor bearing, decat pipe (fitted resonator) all fitted at different times. Every time it seems its done the job but after awhile it comes back. Today I was able to produce the symptom whilst stationary in neutral and loading it up in Drive but it disappears in Park. Could it be transmission pump or internal bearing.

Any idea's or other test worth trying would be appreciated.

    Thx
    Cheers tt

Has the exhaust bellows below the turbo been replaced?

It seems good but just to make sure whilst drone was there I levered the exhaust over which made no effect. Cant understand why it disappears in Park and not Neutral.

The gearbox puts load on the engine whilst in neutral but not in park.

Have you tried lifting the exhaust from below the flex joint? When they stretch the bottom bounces on an internal limit stop causing a vibration.

I will give it a go as i only levered it sideways. Might just swap it out for the flex tube type as its an easy job.

Mine was easy to prove, only requiring someone to hold the revs up to around 1200 rpm IIRC then with gloved hands I lifted the weight off the bellows then down and up a couple of times to be sure that the rattle/vibration stopped each time.
