    Hi All,
    When I had the windscreen replaced two days ago, the knowledgeable chap gave me a length of universal rubber similar to the attached pic.
    He he told me the trick was not the rubber but how to tension the scuttle against the screen given that the locating and anchor tabs have broken off.
    He said he puts a bead of windscreen sealant on the inside cavity of the rubber so it's not visible, then screws the scuttle in, re affixes the wipers and then holds the rubber against the screen with a run of tape until it cures.
    I'm gunna try that today!

    Bit hard to see in the light, with my house reflection in the very clean new screen, but I didn't use any glue or sealant. It actually sits on the glass quite well. I'd say the rubber is resting against it medium firm. Enough that most of the screen run off will .....run off! Win.
