    Another way to answer your question is that low profile tyres have No buisness being on a 4WD

    I would not see much of percentage / year, might be a few trips of about 5% a year.

    Currently I just happen to have a few set of tyres in hands.

    - 235 70 r16 BFG AT KO on original LR rims (this is a very good set of tyres for my daily use after a few weeks running them. Very comfortable around the corner and over the humps, also very fast start from the red lights)

    - 265 70 r16 BFG AT KO2 on Dynamic black rims 16x8 (this set of 5 tyres and rims look awesome and tough and must be the one of the best for off-road on a 2 inch lift, but I do not have/need of lift atm and would be happy to go daily use with the other two sets)

    - 255 55 r18 original LR Mondial alloy rims with general tyres (I love this set of Mondial rims and likely will keep them running with my daily use but consider changing the tyres)


    @Scarry, trout1105: Yeah, I think 245 70 r16 would be a nice set for towing.
