Could be boost kicking in
I have had an issue with the car pulling away ok, getting to about 2.1l and then it is like hitting the after burners. I did the same acceleration with the MAF disconnected and it pulled away smoothly, no huge 'kick' at 2.1k. I reconnected the MAF, and it ran like it was disconnected, maybe not as good.
My test was in second gear, manual, at 1k and floor it, easing of at 3k.
I could run a time test, from 1 K to 3K. Anything else to try?
Thanks
Julian

Could be boost kicking in
I don't understad boost kicking in. Is this the turbo finally spining fast enough to make a difference?
What could be sticking?
Now it is more of a linear shove.
If you remove the waste gate rod, you get overboost?

Data via Nanocm indicates the MAF is buggered. Which one to get? Original? OEM?
