10W-40 is perfect for Australia. LR specified this for -10°C to 50°C climates.
On a very hot days I tended to find 5W-40 had very low oil pressure at idle, and on cold Perth mornings 15W-50 used to generate very high oil pressures until the engine warmed up.

Yes - had over 450K at the time I tried the 15W-50. Originally to improve oil pressure over summer, but then found it was too thick for winter.
But this is idle chat filling in time.
