Thread: A piller replacement rubber seals

Hi the seals on both A piller plastic covers are shot. What have others used in the past other then just siliconing the seal up . Also looking for new seal for front windscreen scuttle panel

The cover under the windscreen is called a "plenum Cover"
If you Google that you will find OEM ones are $588.
There is a fibreglass replica made in Malaysia for $340 or so .
I was able to get a second hand one in good nick. Make sure if you have your windsceen replaced they remove the bonnet as the replacer trying to remove it with the bonnet on is what breaks it.

A rock broke one of my plastic windscreen covers in half.
I just bought a second hand one and sikaflexed it in place.
If you have to replace the windscreen the odds are the replacer will break it anyway so IMHO used is the way to go.
