    Does the harmonic balancer TD5 look ok?

    Hi guys, last couple of weeks I've changed the bearings and whole parts in most areas: Alternator, AC, idler pulleys/tensioner and the viscous fan.

    The only things left is the HB and power steering pump.

    I put a pry bar on the HB from underneath, and it moved a little bit. But does not move when the belt is on it.

    I've made a little clip with slow motion to hopefully allow people to have a look and tell if the HB looks good.

    At the moment I dont have any symptoms, just more about preventive maintenance.

    Car has done 225k kms

    The tensioner moves just about exactly the same as mine.
    It looks OK to me.
    You get plenty of warning when they go.
    Mine has chirped since 135Kk and is now at 212Kk and chirps exactly the same.
    A friend had one that clacked loudly when turned off and he ran it for quite a time afterwards. I assume it had very little rubber left.

    Looks as new. The tensioner always moves about like that, some much worse!
    The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
    The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

    The slowed down version sounds like a steam train!!

    How old is the belt?

    The belt was changed on the weekend as well. Funny, i replaced the belt with a Dayco. I fits so much better the previous belt (not sure of brand). I use to have trouble getting the old belt on, this dayco is just that lttile bit longer. Definitely replace the belt if its hard to change!!
