In particular, the window switch finisher is hard to find. I've got the part number as BTR3644LNF. I only need to replace it as the push in clip parts have broken off, otherwise it is in good condition.
Hi everyone,
First post! I've picked up a 2002 D2 which I am going to turn into a camper. It's a bit of a project to muck about with, I'll probably chuck up in the members rides.
Anyway, it's a decent little bus, but it also needs a bit of work. I'm looking for a few bits and pieces which I'd like to get from all the same spot. The kind of stuff I am looking for are:
- The center console cup holders in smoke stone/ash grey
- Front left rain gutter finisher
- Power window switch finisher (without heated seats)
Where do you normally get these pieces in new?
Cheers

What I did with mine is drilled out the "receptacles" and fitted rivnuts to the backing plate, then drilled holes in the faceplate and fitted nice looking small bolts. To me it looks fine.
Thinking again maybe I just drilled the receptacles and then cutoff the remainder of the spikes and drilled a hole and used black self tappers.

where in Vic are you?
If Melb, then you would try a wrecker.
If you would travel west or north:
Dynon road wreckers have a couple of D1's and D2's about. The new owner is a bit of a Landrover chap, and he has them more for the love or them, than financial reasons.
Pickapart up in Campbellfield had a couple of D1's and a D2 about 12 months(maybe more) back.. could be some there.
Note that there are versions that have more acesss ports than just the window switches too, I think some have seat heaters as well. Maybe not so common.
An alternative would also be to drill and screw them in. Not sure what size screw they'd need so not to rip the plastic plate underneath, but 4 countersunk screws wouldn't look out of place.
We were going to eventually do that to brothers TD5, but in the end very small dabs of silicon(very very small!) hold them in place OK too.

Note, very cheap stuff that barely sticks, and very little of it too.
Otherwise, copious amounts of very sticky stuff, or you may never get it off again!
Alternatively!!
If you have access to a 3D printer, files exist for you to make your own(see below).
