Advise on how to stop PAS hose leak.

Guys I’m scratching my head about how I can stop a leak between the high pressure hose that connects to the steering box. I have replaced all PAS hoses and pump (which wasn’t that hard in the end). But I have a major leak that I just cannot seam it fix. It’s brand new lines with O rings that have gone all the way into the steering box and secured down with the holding bracket, but the bloody thing is still leaking.

    tried:
loosening holding bracket so not over tight.
removing hose to make sure O ring is not compromised.

Any ideas of a permanent fix for this?8F22CC48-A602-47AC-9BD3-8308B6D03DA6.jpg8F22CC48-A602-47AC-9BD3-8308B6D03DA6.jpg

Found the issue. The rubber O ring on the high pressure line into the steering box is split (must have done it when fitting).

any idea where I can get another one from?

hi there. your post stirred my memory cells. i had same issue a couple of years back. got o rings sent out from u.k.

good news is i have a couple of spare sets. no idea how that came about. typical l/r !! 4 different o rings , so you will have to track down a diagram with part nos.

    i got mine from island 4x4.co.uk i think .

if you pm me your address i'll stick a set in the post next week.

    pete :-)
