Terrafirma D2 stainless brake hoses any reviews?

I am looking at replacing my brake hoses and the Terrafirma TF610 hoses look to be good value if OK.

Anyone had experience with them or can recommend other moderately priced hoses?

Looks like i will have to order from US or UK as all in OZ are +40MM and I don't want them flopping around as my lift though 2inch is probably now less.
    Regards PhilipA

As for quality it depends on who makes them for AllMakes/Terrafirma.

I'm pretty pedantic about the make of hose I use, Goodridge, Earl's, Aeroquip and that's it.
Back in the day they're the only brands I'd use on race cars. (And I used to make my own hose assemblies)

If Allmakes use Goodridge UK to supply them then grab them.

And FWIW, I bought mine locally through V-Sport, Sydney for a good price, and they're 50mm extended and have been fine with stock height springs.

That's what happenned to one of my TF610 hose just after it went out of warranty, and it wasnt touched by anything, it blew from inside out, bought classic corteco hoses and binned the TFs all... i've had bad experience with shocks too which rusted away in no time, i'll never use any TF product again

That's scary, decent Teflon lined SS braided hose will never do that unless the braid is chafed through

go Goodridge, had a customer with issue with TF where the retaining plate would pass through the retainer bracket of the D2.

    I bought these last March.

I do not have a lift. The extra 40mm 2 inches? Hmm how does that happen with 25mm per inch? Anyway the extra length is not a problem. Brakes are nice and firm now.

Before I had a Land Rover I did not have any torque wrenches. Now I have three.

Ouch. I've not had any experience with their products, but have sen many "endorsements" on the advertorial vids common on YT. Thanks for that, SF. I'll stay away as well.

Good question. Tipping a typo, 2" is roughly equal to 50mm. Which you knew I guess.
