Knew a bloke who took a coach up to Buller in the snow season. Got back to Melb and found he had dropped his car key up there somewhere. Course, he probably shouldn't have taken it.... But, it happens.

Sorta, forgot to take the keys out of my pocket before swimming. This prompted me to cut and programme the new blank, purchased in February '19.
Wouldn't start mine, even holding the electric gubbins of a functioning key, close to the barrel.

If you have a receiver type tow bar the following is the dogs whats its. I just keep a door key in mine and a "good" spare key inside the car.

It comes with a rubber cover that fits over the end of the receiver housing. It does not appear as anything more than "dress-up" item, so unless you know what is under there, nobody would even know what it was. I dont like combo locks either, but as the old saying goes: "locks only keep out honest people".
